Many fruits can be grilled. They are perfect for charcoal grills, as they can be placed on the grill when everything else is done, using the last of the residual heat from the coals.
Pineapple, peaches, apricots, and plums are all good candidates for grilling. Brush with melted butter and cook just to heat through and soften. Serve with grilled pound cake slices, and top with whipped cream or whipped topping.
