  • How much turkey? – when selecting a turkey, figure at least ¾ lb. To one lb. of turkey per person.

  • How do you thaw the turkey? – always thaw your turkey in the refrigerator. For a 12 lb. turkey, it will take about three to four days.

  • How do I know when the turkey is done? – select a turkey with a Pop Up® Timer in it or have another type of temperature indicating device handy to ensure it cooked to the proper temperature.
